Heyo. I have been thinking about what to write about, and I'm going to just go with the things I know and enjoy instead of trying to impress everyone with my expertise on things that I know nothing about. Like Justin Bieber and spray tans. If you're wanting info on that kind of stuff, just stop it. *slaps back of hand*
You will, however, probably find posts about thrift shopping, dessert, and books. Those are the things I like. And I might write a little about my famjam, because I like them, too.
Disclaimer: This is actually attempt #2 at a blog, and I'm hoping this one lasts longer than three days. (Yikes.)
You might be asking yourself why I named my blog what I did. And you'd probably say, "I don't know" because you're asking the wrong person. If you asked me, I would tell you that to frolic means to "play and move about cheerfully, excitedly, or energetically" (Thanks Google, I owe ya one.)
Isn't that beautiful? That's my goal. I want to be able to say that I move about my life cheerfully, excitedly, and energetically. Hopefully this blog will chronicle some of that and keep me accountable, as well.
As far as the Mama Llama part, I am a mama of two beautiful babies. Love 'em, love 'em, love 'em. And llamas are my spirit animal. Love 'em, love 'em, love 'em. We have identical personality traits, according to this FAQ.org excerpt:
"Llamas by nature, are very intelligent, gentle animals. They are relatively inexpensive to maintain, relatively disease-free, and are quick to learn, cooperative, and patient in training. Their quickness to learn can make them, at times, mischievous."
See? We're pretty much twins.
My husband actually took me to a llama farm the day he proposed and I cried because I was so excited. About the llamas. The proposal was cool, too, though.
So much joy. How could I not put a ring on it? So good.
Anyway, that's a little bit of backstory behind the name of my blog and what you can expect to glean from reading it. I will post more later on. In the meantime, let me know what your spirit animal is and why!
Hasta la pasta, ya'll.
Melissa

Cat. I'm feisty, like to explore, love snuggling, and can't resist a good nap.
ReplyDeleteA nap and a sandwich?
DeleteOkay, so Ian and I have this "inside joke" that llamas are like Jesus and guide the flock of sheep to safety. So it's actually perfect that you say llamas are your spirit animal because if I ever had to label a friend that was most like Jesus it would definitely be you! You beautiful soul, you!
ReplyDeleteLove you CUTIE! You're the best!
DeleteYou titled it so perfect for you!! I'm stoked to have something lovely to look forward to reading!
ReplyDeleteThanks Maigee! Miss you lots! :)
DeleteI'm ridiculously excited to read about your frolicking. I have no clue what my spirit animal is. Unless it can be a mythical creature. Cause if it can then I'm probably a mermaid. If it can't then......I'm...a...dolphin.
ReplyDeleteI took this quiz because I like putting my computer at risk for viruses and terrible grammar.
Your a Bottlenose Dolphin
"Your cute, funny and playful your very well known and everybody likes you LUCKY!! Your friendly and try your best to help people! If you keep going on like that youll have heaps of friends"
How nice.
Hahaha this made me LOL for reals. That's the best/worst quiz I've taken in a while. I got: Spinner Dolphin! "Your very acrobatic and sporty, spinning never makes you dizzy because you love it! Your quite small but not tiny. You love doing acrobatic displays for everybody and everyone loves it!!"
